MARCH ISSUE
As many of you know I'm pregnant with my second child and I came to the difficult decision of selling the store. The great news is that I found two wonderful local moms to take over the store. I know they will do wonderful things with it and make it even bigger and better. I'm sure you will provide them with the same commitment and support that I have been shown over this past year.
I hope to still see most of you around town!
Warm Regards,
Diana

A New Chapter in the Cherrytown Kids Story.... |
I am honored and excited to be one of the new owners of Cherrytown Kids. I live in San Leandro with my husband Stephen and my daughters, Fiona and Maeve. As a loyal Cherrytown Kids customer and friend from the early days, I have had the privilege of watching it evolve from an idea born out of a need recognized by two very creative moms, Diana Quintal and Morgan Mack-Rose, to the much needed and appreciated community asset that it is today. On behalf of my partner and the many other loyal Cherrytown patrons, I want to publicly thank Diana and Morgan for having the vision and the courage that was necessary to turn their idea into a reality. I am excited about this new chapter in the Cherrytown story and look forward to working with all of you to continue the tradition of providing a great resource for families in the San Leandro area.

Greetings! I am excited about this new venture and look forward to continuing to provide an affordable, high quality shopping alternative for families in San Leandro and throughout the East Bay. The children in my family range in age from 13 to 14 months so, needless to say, I understand the need for great bargains on children’s clothes, gifts and gear. I will be focusing my energies on spreading the word about Cherrytown and ferreting out more exciting new and quality pre-owned (sorry, couldn’t resist the car dealer lingo!) items for the children in your life. I am also exploring opportunities to form strategic partnerships to help raise funds for some of the many great children’s programs, preschools and parent’s groups in the area. If you know of such a group that we can partner with – or have any other ideas/suggestions/random thoughts about how we can make Cherrytown Kids and even better place for you to shop, I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to email me at: ctk@cherrytownkids.com .

Meet Mr. Bunny at Cherrytown Kids |
With the wintry weather we’ve been having lately (did you see the hale last week?!) it’s hard to believe that spring is around the corner. Even better than that, we have it on good authority that everybody’s favorite fuzzy friend, Mr. Bunny is on his way to Cherrytown Kids! We’re looking forward to having you meet him on Saturday April 8th from 2 to 5pm and Saturday April 15 from 10am to 1pm. We’re also going to have some featured artisans in the store on those Saturdays to showcase their wares, so mark your calendar for one (or both!) of those dates, bring your children and your camera and come on down!
