Consignment Policy
Welcome! We’re pleased that you want to become part of our store. Here’s how it works:
Things we consign are: in-season clothes, shoes, parenting books and baby gear. Select your brand name, gently used items. Make sure the clothes are freshly laundered and folded or on a hanger. Please carefully presort your clothing and remove items that are stained, worn, dated, soiled or in need of repair. We’d love to consign your baby gear such as strollers, cribs, highchairs, pack-n-plays, electric swings and exersaucers etc. The toys and gear must be clean and not have any missing pieces. The better it looks the more you’ll make!!
All gear must meet federal and state regulations regarding safety. If you have any type of gear please call to confirm there are no recall notices before bringing it in. All gear is taken on consignment.
When you bring your items in, we will select what our customers will buy. Sometimes, there will be items we cannot sell. Please understand that our customers’ preferences must be our selection guidelines.
We base prices on supply and demand. We will pay the best price for items that are in season but are always looking to buy high quality clothes for all seasons.

You receive 40% in cash or 50% store credit of the selling price. Stop in for any money owed to you any time. We will display your items for 60 days. The selling price will be reduced by 20% after the first 3 weeks, and by 40% at the 6-week point. Seasonal items may go on sale as demand decreases.
If you would like to retrieve any unsold items please do so by the 60th day. Call us ahead of time and we’ll have them ready for you. If you don’t wish to pick up the remaining unsold items, they become the property of Cherrytown Kids and will be donated to a charity of our choice.
